mycityoff is a space that runs parallel to the exhibition www.mycity.com.br, where any webdesigner and artist who is not participating officially, can present a site created especially for the project, following the same orientation given to the 46 artists who are taking part in the exposition.

The mycityoff sites are just as important as the 46 citywebsites already constructed. Don't miss the chance to participate.

Briefing
Everybody has a personal way of getting to know a city. How would you, by means of the web, go about doing it? Making the world discover your city through your eyes. What's it like? What is it? Who is your city?

This is an artistic effort that shouldn't have the intention of selling or publicizing your city commercially, as if it were travel advertising. Try to do it in a personal and creative way. Visit the works already completed and try to do something different.

How to participate

1. Create and produce your mycityoff site.
You can use all the kinds of technolgy you consider the most interesting. For the mycityoff sites there are no size restrictions.

2. Host it in an ISP of your own responsability
When you finish your work, get in touch with some Internet Solution Provider, so that it can make space available on the Internet for the created website. The hosting of your citywebsite is entirely your own responsability.

3. Show your website and join mycityoff
When your site is available on the Internet, come back to www.mycity.com.br, enter the mycityoff section and fill out our form, indicating the URL of your work.
When we get your adress, we will be linking it to the mycityoff page, and your website will take part in the exhibition just as the official citywebsites.
